Host a fundraiser

Access to Justice starts with you! Honor your special occasion by growing it into an opportunity to make a difference in your community.

What is the Justice Gap?

It’s the difference between the civil legal needs of low-income Americans and the resources available to help meet those needs. We are counting on you to help us close this gap and ensure that our clients receive full advocacy that stabilizes their incomes, stops violence, keeps them in healthy housing, manages their debt, helps them naturalize, provides access to health care, secures adequate education, and more.

I want to make a difference. What type of fundraiser should I do?

There are so many options! So, it can be hard to choose. As you’re planning, try to think of things your friends and colleagues enjoy doing together. Do your friends like to do trivia? Are you in a book club? Are they coming to a dinner party at your house? If your best friends are spread out across the country, you may want to consider doing your event virtually. Whatever you do, do something fun that your friends will enjoy while raising money for a good cause.

Is there someone I can talk to if I have questions or need help?

If you have any questions or want to talk through a fundraising idea, you can reach out to our development director, Britt Cotrell. Email (BrittC@icls.org) is the best way to reach her.

How do people submit their donation?

People can submit their donations online here. If your donors prefer to give cash, you can collect it and send us a check to: Inland Counties Legal Services Attn: Accounting 1040 Iowa Ave., #106 Riverside, CA 92507-210

For questions or guidance on hosting a fundraiser, contact Director of Development Britt Cotrell at BrittC@icls.org.

Meaningful Giving

Your donation allows us to continue providing people who are low-income and vulnerable with free legal services. With your help, we are closing the Justice Gap.
