ICLS Staff Celebrated at Annual Meeting

Earlier this month, ICLS staff came together from across Southern California to recognize accomplishments, review organization-wide achievements, and to celebrate another year of service in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. This year’s meeting was held in Fontana, and it was rooted in joy, connection, and dedication to the communities we serve.

This year, Dr. Jen Welter, a professional athlete and entrepreneur best known as the first female coach in the NFL, joined us for the meeting to speak to ICLS staff about overcoming obstacles and being the hero in someone else’s life. She shared her own story and career trajectory, including obstacles she had to overcome both internally and externally, to achieve her goals. Dr. Welter is both inspirational and engaging, and we greatly appreciated her sharing her insight with our ICLS team.

To close out the meeting, we honored ICLS staff who went above and beyond in service of their clients this year, and staff who reached impressive milestones at ICLS. Our organization is made up of individuals who are committed to justice, who care about their neighbors, and who are driven by the work we do. We are honored to get to celebrate these accomplishments and our staff each year.
