Outreach & Intake

The Outreach and Intake Practice Group’s mission is to ensure that each applicant receives a thorough intake to determine how each applicant can be assisted. Most importantly, the group exists to provide options when it matters most and improve legal assistance for socially and economically disadvantaged people.

What We Do:

The Outreach and Intake Practice Group is a joint force that assists clients in various capacities.

The Intake Team is the first point of contact for potential clients. The Intake Team gathers basic information about each applicant and his or her legal matter to determine if the applicant is eligible for ICLS’s services. The Intake Team provides helpful information, screening of potential clients, meaningful referrals, and scheduling of appointments with ICLS advocates.

How We Connect:

The Outreach Team provides services at locations throughout the local community in an attempt to assist seniors who are unable to access any of ICLS’s offices. The Outreach Team focuses on seniors who are in the greatest social and economic need.
ICLS’s Outreach Team assists with:

  • Consumer Issues;
  • Simple Wills;
  • Powers of Attorney;
  • Small Estate Probate;
  • Paying for Nursing Home Care;
  • Housing Law, including Mobile Home Law; Senior Abuse;
  • Grandparent Visitation;
  • Small Claims Court;
  • Health Care Law Issues;
  • Public Benefits Issues.
