Volunteers are an integral part of our mission to close the justice gap in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Thousands of people turn to ICLS for legal assistance each year, and it is with the generosity of volunteers that we are able to better meet those needs.
Our volunteers know they make a difference, too, because they see it every day in the gratitude of their clients. The work may not always be easy, but it is life changing for the clients you’ll help.
We recruit volunteers with diverse backgrounds and experience levels to participate in our many legal projects, clinics, and cases. We accept volunteer attorneys, law students, law school graduates, paralegals, social workers, and other professionals who play a vital role in expanding the free legal services to vulnerable members of the community. We are committed to both providing quality services to clients while ensuring that volunteers gain meaningful experience.
We have volunteer opportunities within all of our practice groups, from the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic to Public Benefits and Education to Health and beyond. Together, we can build a personalized volunteer placement, so as to best utilize your talents and skills in the best interest of our clients.
Some of our volunteers are so touched by the work they do that they end up becoming staff members at ICLS. To get in contact with our Pro Bono coordinator and start your volunteer experience, submit your application below.
