What We Do:

If eligible for services, clients may receive advice, brief services, and/ or direct representation depending on the circumstances of their case. Health care topics including:

• Covered California
• Dual Special Needs Plans
• In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)
• Medi-Cal
• Medicare
• Medicare — Medi-Cal (“Dual”) Plans
• Medical billing
• Private Health Insurance
• Other health care matters

How We Connect:

The team participates in community fairs and offers community education presentations to community-based organizations
and client groups on a variety of health care topics like eligibility
and access to services.

We are the Medicare and Medi-Cal Ombudsperson for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties assisting “dual eligible” beneficiaries with eligibility, coverage, or access to care barrier. We may be able to assist with coverage, enrollment, and obtaining care, as well as assist beneficiaries file complaints and appeals with their plan.

We serve as Co-Chair for the Inland Empire Enrollee Advisory Committee which focused on Medicare and Medi-Cal plans. 

Inland Counties Legal Services, Inc does not assist in personal injury, third-party liability, medical liens, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), malpractice, or workers’ compensation cases.
