Lawyer in the Library

Lawyer in the Library is a national program that provides free legal consultations to library patrons. ICLS participates in Lawyer in the Library through a partnership with the Riverside County Public Library System.

What We Do:

During Lawyer in the Library sessions, eligible low-income residents can meet one-on-one with a nonprofit legal aid attorney for guidance and assistance with a variety of civil legal issues.

ICLS advocates can help address the following issues:

  • Housing cases including evictions
  • Expungement
  • Public Benefits
  • Consumer debt
  • Elder Law & Simple Estate Planning

*ICLS does not assist with active criminal cases.
